
Yuri Suzuki_
Yuri Suzuki is a Japanese designer, sound artist and electronic musician.
Yuri Suzuki studied industrial design in Tokyo before moving to London to complete a masters at the Royal College of Art. Known for his interactive installations which bring together design and sound, Yuri’s work has been exhibited at MoMA, Tate Modern, Barbican and Tokyo’s Museum of Modern Art. Yuri’s new exhibition “Sound in Mind”, is currently on show at the Design Museum as part of London Design Festival 2019. Through Yuri Suzuki Design Studio, he has created work in partnership with Google, Korg, Teenage Engineering and Moog, and collaborated with will.i.am, Jeff Mills and all-robot band Z-Machines. In 2018, Yuri joined esteemed design agency Pentagram, becoming the agency’s first Partner with a background in sound. Through this work, he’ll continue to take sound and sound design into new and previously unexplored spaces.
